About Eric Kiskaddon, MD
Dr. Kiskaddon received his doctor of medicine degree at the University of Louisville, where he was named to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wright State University in Dayton, OH, serving as administrative chief resident and was named an emerging leader by the American Orthopedic Association. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction at The Ohio State University.
Having participated in research throughout his training, Dr. Kiskaddon has presented at both regional and national meetings. Further, he has numerous publications in leading orthopedic journals including The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, The Journal of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and The Journal of Arthroplasty. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and candidate Member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Dr Kiskaddon anticipated a joint problem and ordered an x-ray before seeing me. This clearly showed bone on bone. He shared thoroughly and compassionately the pros and cons of hip replacement surgery and ultimately left me in control not forcing or strongly urging me in any one direction which I greatly appreciate. He also made himself available for any questions I might have for helping me make a decision. His x-ray tech was so courteous and good at her job, but a 40 kw generator is grossly undersized for this practice. Plus, because of the types of studies they do, an overhead tube would be quite valuable. Wellstar is known for high quality services and this x-ray room's size and equipment do not support this. It save money on paper, but compromises services. The check-in staff were efficient and pleasant. The lobby and overall esthetic were consistent with Wellstar's other facilities: calming, light and bright, clean, orderly, etc.

I was told how to exit room when I had to tell the girl I was waiting to get injection. There was no nurse in room when I had injection in my hip. I needed to ask Doc a quick question right after I left room, but was not allowed to. The front unfriendly girl at desk told me to msg on my chart. The girl at front never addressed me when I first got there nor smiled. The tech doing xrays was great. I just felt rushed for a 1st time patient and hoped to get relief, but unfortunately I am in more pain than I was. I am also now having pain in my left hip.
