There has been a history of doctors not listening to my needs and only looking at me like a data point, like lab work. And it made me feel so dehumanized. But Emily sat with me and listened to all of my concerns thoroughly and we went over each and every one of my options and what we're going to do. And when we came to a decision of what would happen next, she thoroughly explained that as well. It really felt very human. And I have so much respect and gratitude for her and for her kindness and compassion. The bedside manner was impeccable. She did a phenomenal job and I look forward to working with her.
