About Daniel Holtz, MD
Dr. Holtz earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Georgia and his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Texas – Houston Medical School. Before joining Wellstar, Dr. Holtz completed his fellowship in hand surgery at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. Prior, he was a resident physician in general surgery at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Holtz is board certified in Hand and General Surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Holtz enjoys running, swimming, World War II history and college football.

He gave me great understanding about what I needed and the risk that was involved and what his best suggestion about my risk. That felt very confident in his medical advice and glad to work with the nursing scheduling team was very helpful and kind to me. I definitely would recommend this practice to someone in my family or friends. Glad to be a part of this facility.

The nurse put instructions about additional health problems I was having. And he neglected to even acknowledge it. By not reading what she entered into system. So after the first diagnosis was talked about, he acted as if the my visit to him was over... I proceeded to tell him about what else was bothering me and he acted as if I was being a burden/ bother. I then just tried to act like that I didn't want to burden him anymore. He gave me a shot. I wanted to get leave. Cause I felt uncomfortable

Upon arrival I was told that they are running 20 minutes late. I waited about 45 minutes as I watched people who came in after me were taken care of as I waited. Then as I was taken to the room to see the doctor, I waited another 20 minutes. The doctor visit lasted about 5 minutes. No complaints against him, I was service by him before and he did what was needed.
