I was disappointed that I had to finish my lab tests at Kennestone Hospital. My normal ten-mile round trip became 50 miles. My trip to the Kennestone Hospital required a two-hour appointment and labs, which resulted in over six hours to complete. The lab personnel at both laboratories were excellent. The extended trip to get the final lab blood draw is not acceptable.

Yes, my provider was extremely knowledgeable, very kind in listening to all my symptoms and provided feedback and more importantly, compassion. Thought the appointment went very well. The recommendations as well as the follow-up appointments were made.

The provider listened to me well and when I was done, she went and got the physician who I had known for a long time to discuss my complicated health situation with me. I appreciated it and thank you.

So the provider I saw was good, but the issue was leading up to that appointment. I had an MRI. When the doctor scheduled it, he told me that he would, he told me after the MRI to bring the disc, and then they would review it, and they would give me a call back and let me know next steps, whether I needed to make an appointment or whatever, but I'd get a call back. Didn't get a call back. I called, was on the phone for well over an hour with a couple of different people in the staff who basically kept trying to tell me, oh, well, since you didn't go to WellStar, it didn't get read, and I said, well, can you explain to me the process when you tell a patient to bring a disc in, because I get I could have went to WellStar, but the instructions was to bring the disc in, and I literally left from getting the MRI and took the disc in. So I just really wanted to know, like, what's the process, and so someone got on the line and went through all this stuff and said they made me appointments to come in the next day, but told me I may not.
