Dr. McLeod completed his medical education at the University of Florida before moving to Chicago for clinical training and, ultimately, to Augusta, where he joined the Augusta University Neurology department as assistant professor. Dr. McLeod completed a two-year fellowship to specialize in the clinical care of patients with movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, Parkinsonism, essential tremor and dystonia. He is particularly interested in deep brain stimulation quality improvement for movement disorders, Botulinum toxin use for movement disorders and advanced therapies for motor impairments in Parkinson's disease.
