I've decided to switch to this new doctor due to Christi Howard. My old doctor retired and I was not thrilled with the replacement Dr and so I searched for Christi on the Internet because I like her very much and I think that she is very good at what she does and I knew that any doctor she chose to work with would be an excellent doctor.

Everyone in Dr. Pearson's office is so nice! The gal who took my vitals and the technician who performed the sonogram were personable and comforting. And then there's Christi Howard, who is excellent! I trust her knowledge, and I'm grateful for her easy personality! Love this practice!

This is my 3rd mammogram, and I've had the same results for 3 years. It's taken me 3 years to get this appointment. My PCP told me she wanted me to do an ultrasound due to the results of my mammogram 3 years ago, however she said she wasn't supposed to request it, as she wasn't the expert and it needed to be done by the team reviewing my mammogram. When I asked the contacts at the imaging center regarding getting an ultrasound, they said it needed to be requested by my PCP. When I inquired regarding my results they said it wasn't needed. I told my PCP and she said it wasn't her that puts in the request it had to be done by another doctor as a result of the mammogram. Basically I feel like I've been getting the run around for 3 years. Now that my mom has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and my aunt that had breast cancer died this year, I finally got the order for an ultrasound from my PCP with breast surgery. We honestly need to do better when it comes to female healthcare. It's not just that you have to do your job well, but education to the people doing the referral (upstream processes) I.e the PCPs must also be informed of the correct process. I have a female doctor, so it's possible that she maybe more aware of the process than if I had a male doctor and she was still not clear on how to put in the order till this year.

Finally a medical practice that actually listens to the patient. From the front desk to all medical assistants and PA they were very patient provided information about my concerns. This practice is a breath of fresh air in todays world. Five star rating!!!!!
