About Bruce Alayof, MD
Bruce E. Alayof, M.D., F.A.C.C, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and received a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Duke University. After graduating with distinction from the University of North Carolina Medical School in 1997, he went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
Dr. Alayof enjoys the practice of general cardiology and has a special interest in consultative cardiology and non-invasive imaging.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is currently on staff at Wellstar Cobb, Douglas, Kennestone and Paulding hospitals.

It was like I was interrupting her day or something and wouldn't even acknowledge I was there. It just, everything about the interaction with her was very, very bad and rude, and I did not appreciate that at all. Thank you.

Staff was very professional and friendly. Dr. alayof covered everything we needed to, answered all my questions and concerned and discussed next steps in my treatment. Very friendly and a comfortable to talk to.
