I understand my surgeon was away for 2 weeks. Dr. Giles was fine. He just wasn't very forthcoming with info. If I didn't ask the question, he wouldn't have provided info. So, at this point, I don't know what I don't know.

Dr. Giles preformed my surgery and because I have nothing to compare it to, I think he did what he was supposed to do medically. During my follow-up appointment, I believe he just came in and based my healing on average time it takes and not so much about I felt as an individual. My appointment was at 1:45 and I wasn't seen until approximately 3:15 or so. I understand he was performing surgeries elsewhere. I felt that once he did arrive, he spent between 5 or 10 minutes with the patients who had been waiting on him. So I felt like I was being rushed so he could get to the next patient. If I'm the patient who's insurance is paying you, don't treat me like you're doing me a favor. I'm a retired military vet, with over 20yrs of active service and over 18yrs on my current job. So as for insurance, I'm fully covered. I have no idea of what my comments will change, but I answered this accordingly.
