Dr. Kewin received a dual bachelor's degree in biology and Spanish from the University of Illinois. She received her medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency in pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Kewin is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. She joined Kenmar Pediatrics in 2000. Prior to joining Wellstar, she practiced at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Marietta.
A native of Chicago, Ill., Dr. Kewin resides in Marietta with her husband and four children.

We had thought about leaving the practice and after seeing Dr. Kewin for the first time, we are definitely staying. She is a wonderful, wonderful doctor. There was a bit of a wait when we got there, but the staff was apologetic about it and I'm sure it was one of the situations where it could not be helped. They were all very kind and friendly and the front office staff was very accommodating and helpful when I was making appointments for my other children. We love Dr. Kewin and so glad that she's our new pediatrician.

The doctor and staff were great, but I really did not like the location being situated within a hospital and urgent care. It just had a lack of kind of pediatric feel to it. I guess they can't help where the location is. We used to go to the other one that Dr. Kewin would rotate into, but now she only serves out of the Acworth location. But we really like her, so we will continue to go there. I just wish that it was in a dedicated building for children. Thanks.
