Our services
Our pediatric psychiatry team at Wellstar Children’s includes child and adolescent psychiatrists and psychologists, as well as specialists in eating disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism. We are also supported by social workers, recreational therapists and registered dietitians. Families across the CSRA come to us for:- Family assessments, consultations, therapy and medication management
- Outpatient care for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other eating disorders
- Multidisciplinary outpatient ADHD program for children whose ADHD is difficult to treat
- Medication and behavioral management for patients with autism
- Patient- and family-centered care, which promotes a collaborative partnership between healthcare providers, patients and families
- Child Life Specialists, who help pediatric patients understand and cope with illness in a way that is developmentally appropriate
