24-hour Emergency Care Ready to Take Care of You
The Emergency Department at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange is always open and ready 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to meet you in a moment of need. Your emergency health crisis is what we were made for, and our 34-bed unit serves more than 55,000 patients annually.
For patients experiencing a stroke, heart attack, traumatic injury or other serious condition, we provide the expert, personalized care that’s critical in serious, life-threatening emergency situations, delivered by experienced physicians who use the most advanced technology in the region.
Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center is a Level IV Trauma Center. Our Emergency Department has received accreditation as a Chest Pain Center with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) from The Joint Commission, recognizing excellent, comprehensive care provided to our cardiac patients. Our board-certified neurologists are available both in person and through telemedicine for stroke patients. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic lab services are accredited by the College of American Pathologists, and we have earned the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award, Top 10% in The Country.
