As part of Wellstar’s multidisciplinary gynecological program, our gynecologic oncologists collaborate with patients’ medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and genetic specialists in Tumor Board meetings. The goal is to provide personalized care and the most effective treatment for each patient with cancer and other conditions.

Appointments and Cancellations

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call your provider’s office promptly, so that this time can be reallocated to someone who is equally in need of care. If you must cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 48 hours in advance if you are seeing a specialist. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person access to that appointment time. A late cancellation is when a patient fails to cancel a scheduled appointment with 48-hours’ advanced notice for specialty care.

To cancel appointments, please call your healthcare provider’s office, or utilize MyChart’s “Appointments – Cancel an Appt” function.

A no-show is someone who misses an appointment without cancelling it at least 48 hours for a specialty visit. Failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment, or arriving 15 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment, will be recorded as a no-show. Patients may be subject to dismissal from the practice on the third occurrence of a missed appointment or no-show, or a combination of either.

Directions

We recommend parking in the Blue Parking Deck off of Tower Road at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center for the closest parking to this practice. There can be up to a $5 charge for parking depending on length of visit to the hospital campus.

Hospitalization

Our physicians have privileges at Wellstar Cobb, Kennestone and North Fulton hospitals. Some of our surgeons also perform surgery at Wellstar East Cobb, Vinings and Acworth health parks.

Insurance and Payments

Wellstar works hard to create lasting relationships with medical insurance companies to ensure you’re receiving the best possible care. Please contact your insurance carrier via the member benefits number listed on the back of your insurance card. This is to ensure that you fully understand your coverage and financial responsibility.

Printable Office Forms

We ask new patients to provide a medical history and medical records at your first appointment. Once you’ve scheduled your appointment, we will mail you directions to our office and the pertinent forms to bring with you.

Referrals

Referring providers can call our main office line to help patients get scheduled within three business days of the initial phone call.
