I was impressed with being able to see my primary on short notice. I've been concerned about availability in the recent past. A few months ago, when I got out of hospital and was told to see my primary within 2 weeks for a followup, I was told she had no openings for almost a year. That was very disconcerting. So, when I had a health concern last week and was able to see Dr. Denton within 2 days, I was very relieved.

I like the way Dr Denton does business, very congenial, not rushed, very attentive to my concerns and always providing guidance. That said, there were a couple of items listed on my "Today's Visit" summary that puzzled me. First, my weight was listed as 191 lbs even though the scale I stood on only read 180.4 lbs and that was with me fully dressed. Why is my weight and BMI being overstated? Second, my initial blood pressure reading was 155/73 but a second reading (after 3 deep breaths) reported 131/85. These readings seem wildly inconsistent and far from my frequent home readings averaging 123/75. Should your blood pressure machines be re-calibrated? Overall, Dr Denton, her staff and Wellstar do a wonderful job.
