About Stephen Cox, DO
Dr. Cox's educational background includes undergraduate and graduate degrees in Physics from The University of Georgia, where he also participated in the thriving Athens music scene. He earned a doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from PCOM Georgia - the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine branch campus at Suwannee, GA. Finally, he completed three years at Atlanta Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency Program.
Professionally, Dr. Cox maintains membership with the American Academy of Family Physicians, which has been his primary source of continuing medical education since graduating from residency.

Dr. Cox is a treasure. He always ends up drawing out much more than just immediate needs and really dives in to your health. He's caring and attentive and I always feel safe talking to him. This practice also has attracted some wonderful support staff, from nurses to NPs to the front desk, you guys are amazing, and it shows that you really enjoy and do your jobs so well. I'm so grateful to be a patient here. Thank you!!

I can't recall the name of Dr. Cox's medical assistant, but the one that took my blood pressure and temperature and whatnot, but she was super nice. I don't think sugar will melt in that woman's mouth. Absolutely sweet and made a very pleasant experience.
