There was a six week delay before any treatment. After that another cancer was found that needed treatment. Other doctors insisted on quick treatment. Little timely action throughout. She says she is short staffed but poor treatment is her responsibility.

I understood that I was going to have a script for a cream and I thought since the doctor's office had the pharmacy that I used, they were going to call that in. I haven't received any information from the pharmacy that it's there. And when I left the office, no one said that I needed to stop and pick up a written script because when I stopped at the checkout, the lady said I was all set and could go. So if I was supposed to receive a written script or if it was supposed to be called in, neither one happened. Thank you.

I was left in the waiting room for 50 minutes. No one ever said anything about the wait time.. when the nurse came to get me I was put in an exam room while there was supposedly not one available for patients yet. Again I was put in there not knowing how long I would have to wait which was about another 50 minutes. I was also never checked on by any team member at all during this whole waiting process.

Dr. Franklin and her staff did an excellent job of receiving me. Dr. Franklin explained the next steps in my care plan very well, and accomodated my questions. Scheduling for CT went very smoothly. So far, my experience with Wellstar has been extremely positive. Thanks.
