I was scheduled for lab work however there was an unexpected furniture delivery that made the wait to be more than an hour. I chose to come back a couple of days later but the lab wait was still over an hour wait. I do not live close to a Wellstar Lab and it is an inconvenience to make another trip and schedule a time to go. I still was not able to do the lab work

Dr. Billingslea is a professional, well informed, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate doctor. She is very thorough and seeks to inform you of your conditions as accurately and succinctly as possible. I have never felt as though she or her team has to rush on to the next patient. I strongly recommend her to everyone in need of top notched medical care.

The lab wait was 1-1/2 hours. I have been using the Wellstar labs for 27-years. Each year it seems to get worse. The people are great. The login for the lab has never been user friendly. But we learn how to use (screen or online). Today the sign said if your provider sent you over, there is no log in. After 45 minutes of watching people go in that came after me, my husband went to the desk. There was no one there when we first showed up. I went up, after another 15 minutes. She said I would be the second one called. I was. No Well STAR for your lab!

Dr. Billingslea was wonderful, probably one of the best doctors I've ever been to. I came to her with multiple concerns and she made sure to address every single one of them. She thoughtful pulled previous medical records to make sure she understood the full scope of my history. She also responded to test results through mychart quickly and offered recommendations. I'm so glad I found her.

Having worked in the medical and legal professions, I must say, Wellstar has made huge improvements in general...at the Cobb Hospital and a variety of medical offices. However, Dr. Billingslea's office and she, have always maintained a high level of medical patient care that appears to have improved over the past years to her level.
