Treatment

puzzle(1)

Managing diabetes is a balancing act. A unique aspect of diabetes is that you will take an active part in your treatment. You'll become a member of a health care team consisting of your doctor, nurse and dietitian. You're the one in charge. It starts with education, where you'll learn about the importance of monitoring, medication, physical activity and meal planning.
