Prescriptions will be filled within 24 hours.
Referrals
In the event your insurance requires a referral to a specialist, please contact the primary care physician listed on your insurance card and give them the date of your appointment and the physician you will be seeing at our office. This referral will be needed prior to your visit with us to insure that your insurance processes and pays your benefits accurately. The referral can be faxed to our office at 770-427-8001.

General Directions

From I-75: Exit Canton Road toward Marietta (#267B)toward Marietta. Travel southbound for approximately 1.5 miles. After passing Kennestone Hospital, turn right on Whitcher Street. Turn left into the Kennestone Physicians Center building. We are in the 55 building which is connected to the parking deck. From the green parking deck, take elevator to level P-3. We are on the main level, Suite 130, down the hall from the pharmacy. Please allow ample time for parking and be prepared to pay a parking fee. Valet parking is also available.

Insurance and Payment

We are committed to meeting your health care needs. Our goal is to keep your insurance or other financial arrangements as simple as possible.

Wellstar Medical Group participates in most major insurance plans. For a complete list of insurance participants at this practice please call the practice main line. We will file your insurance for you if we are a participating provider of your plan.

All co-payments are due at the time of service. Please remember to bring your insurance card (HMO, CMO, PPO, etc.) with you to each appointment.

Our doctors have privileges at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

About Us

The surgeons at Surgical Associates of Marietta are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care through personal commitment and teamwork. Started by Dr. John Hodges and Dr. Spencer Mullins, our practice has served patients in the Marietta area since 1959. We offer bilingual services and personal attention from a friendly healthcare team. Our reputation has earned our practice high marks in regard to the ease of making appointments by phone, the courtesy of our staff, and the willingness of our surgeons to listen to our patients.
 
We are conveniently located next to Kennestone Hospital. A crosswalk from our building to the hospital allows one time parking for patients that need surgical workup after seeing the doctor preoperatively.
