WellStar Physicians Group is currently implementing an electronic medical record system which will allow you to access your personal heath history through your computer. This system will allow you to see your medical history, medications history and past test results. This information is secure and can only be accessed by you. For patients who recently had a test performed through WellStar Physicians Group at one of our lab or x-ray facilities, you also will have the ability to go online and check your test results. To make it more convenient for patients and to help reduce the number of phone calls we receive, many of our locations offer patients the convenience of requesting or canceling an appointment online. Hospitalists, physicians who practice solely in the hospital, have responsibility for your care while you are in the hospital. Hospitalists communicate with your primary care physician while you are an in-patient and will give your primary care physician a complete report regarding your hospital stay.
